The Military Ranking of Iran Exposes IRGC Empty Bravado

Not top news for Tehran’s Khomeinist regime: In spite of all the bravado of Pasdaran and its recent assault on a mock U.S. aircraft carrier in the Gulf, Iran is ranked as a distant 22nd military power in the world!

Worse yet, several Sunni Muslim-majority countries are ranked ahead of Shiite-dominated Iran. These mighty, mainly Sunni nations include Turkey, Egypt, Pakistan and Indonesia.

Adding insult to injury, the report reveals that nuclear Israel -- the Middle Eastern nation weaker-than-a-spider’s-web according to Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah -- is ranked as the 11th military might in the world, while the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is ranked as the 25th fighting power, with only Vietnam and Thailand separating KSA from Iran.

Most powerful militaries in the world

Needless to say, assaulting a defenseless replica of an aircraft carrier is one thing and commanding a real and armed aircraft carrier is an entirely different matter! Indeed, the Iranian regime is exaggerating its prowess among its Shiite devotees, which only fuels sectarian sentiments and leads to further bloodshed in the Middle East.

Alas, the dust of battles in the region will settle only when the Shiite community’s perception of reality reconciles with the facts on the ground: There are far more Sunnis than Shiites in the world and together the Sunni-majority nations are overwhelmingly more powerful than Iran.

Until then, expect more bloodshed in Islamdom, unfortunately!
